Burgundy with Hints of Velvet

 Hey y'all!
So the weather in Ireland has been depressing, but you know what? I'll post anyway. And I know its late.

Lately I've been on a photo-taking kick and I wanted to start a new series. So I thought "why not combine the two?" I don't know what to call this series yet and this shows you what I've been through during the week or last 2 weeks. I don't know how often I'm gonna do this sort of post, but we'll see.
Everyday Makeup
Spring tutorial.

I am currently editing 2 tutorials for y'all. My everyday makeup and a spring makeup. So anticipate that. I literally have to buy a better camera because my photos are either a) blurry b) crappy.

During the week I went to Primark and they are really hitting bull's eye with their crop tops and shirts. They were too cute to not take a picture. I must've looked like a weirdo in the store. These are just 3 that I thought were the nicest. I bought the My Little Pony one because I'm a brony like that. And because it was only 6 euros!

On Friday, Mango (laura) and I decided to go to the local shopping centre because we knew it was Valentine's day and we are both single and are potatoes. We decided why not just spend the day with one of your best friends? So we did and holy cow was there a huge crowd of hormonal acne teenages hanging around the cinema! There were so many people I knew and disliked. I felted judged and out of place. In the bright side I got a velvet playsuit for only 3 euros. Happy days!

Here was the playsuit I was talking about.  This was my OOTD for Sunday evening. Went to a party and decided to go rock edgy.
- Velvet playsuit: Primark
-Burgundy crop top: Hot Topic
-Lion Necklace: Gifted by Bestie; Claire's
-Black ankle wedges: River Island.

That was my week! Hope you had a nice one as well. This was suppose to be a short post. But what are you going to do?
Tell me in the comments what was the highlight of your week. Don't forget to keep in contact with us!

p.s like the new blog layout?
XOXO,
Bee.

How to Make your Own Dreamcatcher

Hello darlings xx
I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been posting these past two months. I've been going through some very personal things that are hard for me to mention but from now on, I'll try my best to post as regularly :)

Is it just me or do dream catchers have a magical aspect to them? I love them. I used to have two when I was younger, they were hung up onto my ceiling along with fairy lights and stars, so when you looked up it seemed as if you were looking up at the night sky.

Anyways I'm gonna show you how to make your own dream catcher!

Step 1
Get a hoop like this:

Then get some ribbon and wrap it around the hoop and when you get to the top make a knot.

Step 2

Get some type of thread (I used embroidery thread) and make patterns with it starting from the outer side of the hoop and start going in and out of the thread, kinda like this:

There are many different patterns you can try, look some up and learn to do the one you like best.

You can also use lace, which makes it look really pretty.

Step 3
To make your dream catcher look like an actual dream catcher, you have to have feathers and beads.
You can add them to the web of the hoop or can have them dangling down from the hoop.
Step 4
Make sure you're happy with what you've made and hang it up!

You can also make dream catcher bracelets, necklaces, earrings, charms etc.
I made a keychain. I know it's not the best but it was my first and I'm proud.

Well, that's all it takes to make a dream catcher. Email us some pics if you've tried to make your own.
Goodbye darlings xxx

Sunday Couch Potato : Pip-pip Doodlely do!

Hey! Long time since a post. I really have no excuse. Usually I'm consistent with posts and we always plan our posts but January was a month I needed for myself. I wanted to quickly fill you in on what happened so far this year.

I wanted change. Happiness, don't we all? I wanted to change mentally, emotionally, socially and physically. I stuck to my resolutions and punished myself when I broke a few (damn you procrastination!) In the past month, I guessed I slightly matured. I was always putting people's needs in front of mine and I just wanted to be a little selfish for once. I changed in some ways but stayed the same in others. I need space basically; to be alone for a while.

I did. I became independent, not relaying on my friends, well not all the time, I kinda stopped talking to a few people because I knew they wouldn't understand. I have choices too! They needed to accept this.

I think I'm a stronger person now, in a really good way. My anxiety, I can talk about it more openly. Not so much in detail because its still personal, but in a way, I'm more trusting. And independent. At the same time.

I really wanted to post for a while now but I didn't find the time or something came up. I also became sick and right now I'm on the sofa supposedly studying for 4 exams this week. Curse you mid-terms! Don't worry though, after this week I'll post more regularly.

That's all.

Pip-pip doodley do!
If Y'all know what's that from, comment down below!

MKay. bye!

Okay seriously bye.
