❤️Lush Haul 2015: the hoarding begins❤️

Hey guys! I decided to make a blogpost on this instead of a video because my editing software is once again being a little,um "female dog", shall we say.
But I really wanted to do a video on this so I'm sorry people 😖✌️.

So lately I've been feeling real down and stressed out because of school related things and just life in general. I'm also in 3rd year and around this time of year, we have something called the "Mocks" which is basically like a mock state exam. Which totally sucks.

My mom bought me some things the other day to cheer me up and feel a bit more chill. So groovy 👽✌️.
So here it is!

She completely spoiled me! I was so surprised, I wasn't expecting this at all! I was give 3 gift sets which are, from left to right, Joy to the World, Shine and Festive Cheer. I was also given something from the Lush Valentine's Day range which is unicorn horn. I've had my eye on that ever since the range was launched.

Joy to the World includes a 45g Dream Cream which is described as Lush's "number one selling product". It is this lotion that is so soothing on the skin with oat milk, chamomile blue oil and cocoa butter. It has a very herbal scent to it. Its not too thick or too runny but just so luxurious without that "heavy" feeling. It really calms down my skin and I highly recommend it! The next product is Snowcake soap which is my favourite Lush soap. It smells like marzipan and almonds and is so creamy. I usually dont use bar soaps as they tend to dry out my skin but this doesn't and I just love how the scent lingers on my skin.

The next gift set is Festive Cheer which includes a Yog Nog soap and Hot Toddy shower gel. When I was at the Lush Boxing day sales (Yes they exist!) I had smelt Hot Toddy and I wasn't impressed. I usually love warm, spicy scents but it was too overwhelming for me. When I opened the gift box and saw it, I decided to give it another whiff. It smelt like a  ginger cherry cola, nothing like I smelt in the store; it was love at first whiff! The scent lingers and I just love the warm gingery scent.

The next product included was a Yog Nog soap. I saw it at the Boxing day sales but I didn't even go near it. Don't ask me why, I just didn't. But oh my, after hearing about how much people loved the scent, I regretted that I didn't even smell it. Imagine my surprise when I saw it! It has such a nice spicy, fudgy scentto it, very similar to a coffee cake or some Starbucks drink (caffeine is literally everything to me). I haven't tried it yet but I just want to it and ugh, its so pretty.

The last gift set is Shine, it includes a Golf FUN, a So White shower gel and the Reindeer rock soap. Gold FUN was definitely the most disappointing product. It was sticky, it melted and it was messy to handle. If it didn't come with the gift set, I wouldn't have purchased it. Although t does have a really nice smell of honey like the Honey I washed the Kids soap and it does lather up better than most soaps (I'm looking at you Karma soap).

So White shower gel was the product I was most excited for. I had smelt it in store but like Hot Toddy, I was not impressed. At the Lush store it smelt artificial and gone off. After everyone raving how much they loved it, I started to regret not giving it a second chance. I asked my best friend Zahra (HEYYY) if she could pick up one for me and I was hooked. It has this very crisp apple scent with a subtle scent of the neroli oil. Now I have a second bottle as back up.

And the last product is Reindeer Rock soap. It smells EXACTLY like the Comforter bubble bar, smells of berries and blackcurrants. But to me it smells more like the strawberry syrup you get from an icecream truck. Cannot wait to use it for the summer!

And lastly I got Unicorn Horn. AND I AM SO FREAKING STOKED TO HAVE ONE IN MY POSSESSION. I was so excited seeing this as part of the Valentine's day rance and my loving mother bought me one! As my dear friends know (bless their souls) that I am a huge unicorn lover. I currently own 3 and I am a proud momma. It smells of lavender and it is so relaxing. I haven't brought myself to use it yet as its too pretty! The point did crumble off so I cannot take a unicorn horn selfie. I warn you this is a very crumbly bubbly bar. But more will be in my possession (hehehehe). Cannot wait to use this guy!

And thats my haul guys! Sorry that this post is a bit long, it just feels so good to have a post up after like 5 months. I really want to blog again but I just find myself put it off for so long. So while my editing software continues to be a "female dog" I will blog! I'll see you guys in my next post and if you have any suggestions for a blog post or Lush products, please comment down below!

Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel Review

Hello pretties,
I got this new shower gel from lush called Prince Charming, and I just had to talk about how amazing it is.

So we all know in lush you can choose between fruity or sweet, but I wanted something that was inbetween. I ended up buying this one and I have no regrets. (Note that is was a limited edition)

This is what is written on the bottle
"with marshmallow root, fair trade vanilla and fresh pomegranate juice, Prince Charming will sweep you off your feet and carry you off into the sunset, leaving your skin silky soft and smelling lovely."

I absolutely love the name, it's adorable and when you apply the shower gel on your skin, you honestly feel like royality is gonna come your way and leave you with a happy ending.

It smells divine. I really wish that you readers could smell it through your screen but technology hasn't evolved by that much -.- I honestly can't describe how wonderful it's smells. It's a combo of vanilla, pomegranate and marshmallow. Just imagine how good it is!

Well that's all I can say but I highly recommend people to buy it.

One more thing,
I love the fact that lush fight agenst animal testing.

Lush is really Eco-friendly and I have to say they make amazing products. I didn't even want to leave the shop because everything smelled so good. I think I'll buy a ton of random lush products and place them around the house.
