❤️Lush Haul 2015: the hoarding begins❤️

Hey guys! I decided to make a blogpost on this instead of a video because my editing software is once again being a little,um "female dog", shall we say.
But I really wanted to do a video on this so I'm sorry people 😖✌️.

So lately I've been feeling real down and stressed out because of school related things and just life in general. I'm also in 3rd year and around this time of year, we have something called the "Mocks" which is basically like a mock state exam. Which totally sucks.

My mom bought me some things the other day to cheer me up and feel a bit more chill. So groovy 👽✌️.
So here it is!

She completely spoiled me! I was so surprised, I wasn't expecting this at all! I was give 3 gift sets which are, from left to right, Joy to the World, Shine and Festive Cheer. I was also given something from the Lush Valentine's Day range which is unicorn horn. I've had my eye on that ever since the range was launched.

Joy to the World includes a 45g Dream Cream which is described as Lush's "number one selling product". It is this lotion that is so soothing on the skin with oat milk, chamomile blue oil and cocoa butter. It has a very herbal scent to it. Its not too thick or too runny but just so luxurious without that "heavy" feeling. It really calms down my skin and I highly recommend it! The next product is Snowcake soap which is my favourite Lush soap. It smells like marzipan and almonds and is so creamy. I usually dont use bar soaps as they tend to dry out my skin but this doesn't and I just love how the scent lingers on my skin.

The next gift set is Festive Cheer which includes a Yog Nog soap and Hot Toddy shower gel. When I was at the Lush Boxing day sales (Yes they exist!) I had smelt Hot Toddy and I wasn't impressed. I usually love warm, spicy scents but it was too overwhelming for me. When I opened the gift box and saw it, I decided to give it another whiff. It smelt like a  ginger cherry cola, nothing like I smelt in the store; it was love at first whiff! The scent lingers and I just love the warm gingery scent.

The next product included was a Yog Nog soap. I saw it at the Boxing day sales but I didn't even go near it. Don't ask me why, I just didn't. But oh my, after hearing about how much people loved the scent, I regretted that I didn't even smell it. Imagine my surprise when I saw it! It has such a nice spicy, fudgy scentto it, very similar to a coffee cake or some Starbucks drink (caffeine is literally everything to me). I haven't tried it yet but I just want to it and ugh, its so pretty.

The last gift set is Shine, it includes a Golf FUN, a So White shower gel and the Reindeer rock soap. Gold FUN was definitely the most disappointing product. It was sticky, it melted and it was messy to handle. If it didn't come with the gift set, I wouldn't have purchased it. Although t does have a really nice smell of honey like the Honey I washed the Kids soap and it does lather up better than most soaps (I'm looking at you Karma soap).

So White shower gel was the product I was most excited for. I had smelt it in store but like Hot Toddy, I was not impressed. At the Lush store it smelt artificial and gone off. After everyone raving how much they loved it, I started to regret not giving it a second chance. I asked my best friend Zahra (HEYYY) if she could pick up one for me and I was hooked. It has this very crisp apple scent with a subtle scent of the neroli oil. Now I have a second bottle as back up.

And the last product is Reindeer Rock soap. It smells EXACTLY like the Comforter bubble bar, smells of berries and blackcurrants. But to me it smells more like the strawberry syrup you get from an icecream truck. Cannot wait to use it for the summer!

And lastly I got Unicorn Horn. AND I AM SO FREAKING STOKED TO HAVE ONE IN MY POSSESSION. I was so excited seeing this as part of the Valentine's day rance and my loving mother bought me one! As my dear friends know (bless their souls) that I am a huge unicorn lover. I currently own 3 and I am a proud momma. It smells of lavender and it is so relaxing. I haven't brought myself to use it yet as its too pretty! The point did crumble off so I cannot take a unicorn horn selfie. I warn you this is a very crumbly bubbly bar. But more will be in my possession (hehehehe). Cannot wait to use this guy!

And thats my haul guys! Sorry that this post is a bit long, it just feels so good to have a post up after like 5 months. I really want to blog again but I just find myself put it off for so long. So while my editing software continues to be a "female dog" I will blog! I'll see you guys in my next post and if you have any suggestions for a blog post or Lush products, please comment down below!

Inspiration.

I am well aware that I have been horrible keeping up with this blog and blogging in general. But I felt like it was time to be inspired again. Pick up where I left of. The recent months have been nothing but an up hill battle with myself and sometimes I felt like I wanted to shut down myself. Blogging to me no longer felt like something I love. And instead of keeping promises and making up excuses, I felt the need to take a break, a longer break than expected but it was well needed. I won't be sticking to a schedule, I'll just post content that I think is enjoyable to read and somewhat useful.

I feel like a better person, recently went back to try and live a heathier lifestyle. I gave myself a personality and gave this blog a whole new look and name. I am truly sorry for disappearing, I just wanted some time for myself, and because of that I have plenty of ideas for future content.

Have a nice day!

Procrastination.

Hello lovelies!
Its been a while. A long while. As much as I love to blog and procrastinate all the time into little useless things, thats not the reason I haven't blogged. I left ya'll hanging. Without a single trace. I kept telling myself I'll do it tomorrow. That becomes next week. Then that becomes next month. I love writing down thoughts and scenarios in my head, but in the end, I abandon them.

There's a controversy over laziness. "It's disease-ridden" my auntie would say. I would call it a temporary hiatus. You drift away from the world, let all the useless things get in the way. You become a person you're not. You suffer, maybe? No? Yes? Whatever the answer, bet you, that you were to lazy to rethink about it.

Today's blog post isn't fashion, beauty or even lifestyle. Just thoughts, that's all there is too it. You can waste more of your time reading this, decide that you'll stop. But the chances are you won't. Now that your this far into reading this little interesting blog post, I want to talk about some more serious things, well they're serious to me. A lot happens in a couple months. Good and bad. But you have to decide which one's which. I have a few announcements...

.....Laura isn't doing the blog anymore......Zahra hasn't been re-inspired to write anything....I've been wallowing in self pity as a form of procrastination. Those all my announcements.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it. Hey, at least I'm procrastinating the effort of packing for Florida. I'll keep you guys posted.
XOXO

Goodbye Anxiety and Stress!

Hello there everybody! My name is Bianca and I cannot believe 2014 is already here in Europe! I am literally freaking out! Usually, I post about beauty, fashion etc. But today I wanted a fresh start. I know everybody says that at the beginning of the year, but I actually mean it. I wanted to start this year with a jump-start!

When I look at last year, there were so many oppurtunities that I didnt do or I decided to ignore. I was kidda getting bored with my life & I felt like I needed something that would get me excited again. I got new hobbies, new friends, tried out new experiences, but honestly I felt like I wasn't happy with any of them. I have never told anybody about this but I think since its a new year its time for me to come out of my shell. In the past year I had secretly been dealing with panic-attacks and anxiety. I felt so alone and when I went to school, I had to deal with people who would consantly annoy me, when I was already feeling pissed. This mean I went through a lot of mood-swings and I had bad relationships with my family and close friends.

My mood-swings got so bad that one day at home I just freaked out. I was playing with my younger brother and he accidently tipped over my stuff and I ended up shouting at him. I was in a mood, he was in a mood and I just wanted everyone to just leave me alone. I got irritated at the littlest of things and even going to school to face my friends was a challenge. There were times I wanted to come out and just have someone just listen to me, but I was kind of the listener to everyone else. I became indecisive at whether I would talk to my school's guidence consellor, my best friends or my parents. In the end I should have talked to anyone of them, but I didn't. I am literally shaking as I write this down...

By the time October came around, I needed something to get my mind of things like stress, anxiety, panic-attacks, mood-swings etc. So I decided to start of this blog. I had done other blogs before but this time I didn't want to be alone. I then decided to do this with 2 of my good friends Laura and Zahra. And in the end this has become one of the best decisions of 2013 yet! I don't have that many attacks anymore and my anxiety isn't really ruining my life anymore too. I was greatful for everything in 2013, but I can't say it was my best year. So I decide that 2014 will.

So this is why I need a fresh start. And I hope you will join me on my journey.

Give your heart a break (literally!): Clear signs you're over a guy

Hello my darlings,
How's your Christmas going?

Ever wonder if you're actually over your ex or crush?
Here are some signs that indicate that you are.

ONE- You don't think of that person as much as you used to in the past.

TWO- You don't get jealous if someone is flirting with them or they're flirting with another person. You honestly couldn't care less.

THREE- You would try anything to get close to him like making silly excuses just to talk to them....now you don't even feel like talking to him/her.

FOUR- When you see cute love qoutes/cute couples on instagram or tumblr you would think of him/her but now to you, they are JUST quotes and couples.

FIVE- You would get upset when you thought of him/her because you thought that you're not attractive or good enough. You've realized that now that you are too good for him/her and that they've missed their chance.

SIX-If they're around, it doesn't even concern you.

SEVEN- If you start liking someone else that means that you definitly are over him!

Did this help you? Comment below.
IF you're not over him, check out my other post about how to get over a guy by clicking here.

Goodbye darlings xxx
And remember they're not worth your tears.

Get your popcorn ready!: Hunger Games Catching Fire Movie Review

Hey guys!
Today i'll be doing a movie review for the new movie (out 21st November 2013) Hunger games: Catching Fire. There are 3 books and im gonna be reviewing the 2nd movie!

First I have to say you do have to watch or even the books before this movie to understand whats going on because it can be confusing.
So the main idea of the movie is that after winning the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark return home to District 12. On the day Katniss and Peeta are to start a victory tour of the country, she is visited by President Snow, who explains that when she defied the Capitol by breaking the rules so that she and Peeta both survived the last Hunger Games, she inspired rebellions in districts and now must continue to pretend to be in love with Peeta or her family will be killed along with Gale and Peeta's families.
The first stop of the tour is in District 11, home of Katniss' friend Rue, the 12-year-old who competed in the 74th Hunger Games. Peeta offers to read the speech from a script Effie provides them, but throws it away and voices his thoughts instead. As they leave, a sorrowful Katniss delivers an inspiring speech that causes a man to whistle the tune Katniss used during the 74th Hunger Games to inform Rue she was safe, and provides the three-finger salute of District 12. Everyone follows the man until Peacekeepers shoot him dead, causing Katniss to scream in panic. Fearing for their safety, Haymitch tells Katniss and Peeta they have become a political target. The two youths proceed to visit the other districts. To solve disputes between Katniss and Snow, Peeta proposes to Katniss in public....

Thats all im giving away about the plot, watch the movie to find out what happens;)

I would say this science fiction adventure film is for girls and boys around 12 or older, i would probably rate it 9/10. It was really good, very interesting, kept me entertained and i really enjoyed it:)

The Fault in Our Stars -Book Review

Hello fellow bookworms! Bianca here with a book review. This is our first review on the blog and I'm in love with the plotline and the author.

"Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten." -Back of the book.

Basic plot line
The story starts with Hazel Grace, a 16-year old girl suffering from thyroid cancer stage 4.
In her Children Support Group, she meets Agustus Waters, an 17-year old amputee.

My Thoughts: 4/5
I love the storyline and the characters! You can't help, but fall in love with Agustus with his metaphors and romantic gestures. Hazel is a stubborn but honest person who slowly falls in love with Agustus. These two make such a cute couple. This book makes you think about death and how precious life is, a real moral.
I honestly laughed, then I cried and when I was finished I read the whole story again! I wished John Green would make a sequel. This book makes me take an interest in his other books, because if they're as good as The Fault in Our Stars, then count me in!

Would I recommend: Definitely

Who would I recommend: anyone 12+, I think that because those who are a little older would understand the whole story.

Thats all from me. Bye.
