WTF! (wonderful thinking find!) Pandora's Box Myth

Hey,

We've never really done a segment about a stories or myths but I'm thinking about doing it once or twice a month. What do you guys think? Comment below.

There are different story plots but the one I like best is, one of the Greek Gods created the first women on Earth.

The Gods gave her a box which was actually a jar (but refeared to a box). She was instructed to never open it. Pandora's curiousity got the better of her and she in fact ended up opening it. When she opened it all things bad and evil- Crime, Hate, Disease and much more escaped and are still here to this day.

That's not the end of our story.

Pandora attempted to catch the demons but it was too late. She looked at the box and found a small fairy.

"I'm Hope" she said.

The Gods were never angry with Pandora because they knew this was bound to happen.

The demons are still here, living amongest us but keep in mind that there's a small ray of Hope aswell.

It's a story with a moral. Even if there is evil in this world, Hope will guide you.

The Fault in Our Stars -Book Review

Hello fellow bookworms! Bianca here with a book review. This is our first review on the blog and I'm in love with the plotline and the author.

"Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten." -Back of the book.

Basic plot line

The story starts with Hazel Grace, a 16-year old girl suffering from thyroid cancer stage 4. 

In her Children Support Group, she meets Agustus Waters, an 17-year old amputee. 

My Thoughts: 4/5

I love the storyline and the characters! You can't help, but fall in love with Agustus with his metaphors and romantic gestures. Hazel is a stubborn but honest person who slowly falls in love with Agustus. These two make such a cute couple. This book makes you think about death and how precious life is, a real moral.

I honestly laughed, then I cried and when I was finished I read the whole story again! I wished John Green would make a sequel. This book makes me take an interest in his other books, because if they're as good as The Fault in Our Stars, then count me in!

Would I recommend: Definitely

Who would I recommend: anyone 12+, I think that because those who are a little older would understand the whole story.

So today i'm gonna tell you a bit about the drama that has me fangirling everytime I think of the name or the characters in it.

It's a about  Cha Eun Sang who comes from a poor family. (why I'm not surprised) She has a mute mum who works as a maid in Jeguk Group's house.

Cha Eun Sang goes to America where she gets into trouble and meets the sexy Kim Tan. She has no place to go so obviously Kim Tan being the sweet sexy beast he is lets her stay in his house with him. Slowly Kim Tan establishes feelings for her but as soon as he does, Cha Eun Sang leaves to go back to Korea with her childhood best friend Yoon Chan Young.

Kim Tan goes back to Korea. While he is there he finds out that the girl thats making him mad in love is living in his house. Turns out that Cha Eun Sang is the daughter of the maid who works there. The perfect chance to make someone fall in love with you right? Living together under the same roof brings people closer but if anyone sees them together it's troble for the both of them espacially since Kim Tan is in an arranged marriage with Rachel Woo, yes we have a bitch in this drama too but on the bright side we have Choi Young Do to complete the love triangle.

He's in love with Cha Eun Sang and Rachel Woo is his future step sister. He may be cold hearted but I can't help but still love his character.

At least Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang are able to see each other at school. Kinda hard tho when you're the new girl and suddenly you're known to be in a relationship with the son of the chairwomen of the school.......or is he?

Kim Tan has ; A half brother Kim woo which he loves but isn't loved back. Kim Woo's mother is died, A step mother and his bilologicly mother who is refeared to as a mistress. He hates being called "son of a mistress" the only person who knew this about him is his ex-best friend Choi Young Do who is now his love rival.

Every character posses a problem or a secret. No one is a friend just connections.

Okay so it may seem like EVERY other kdrama out there but there's something about it that makes it a bit more special then other dramas. *cough*six hots guys*cough* sorry I've got a bit of a cold.

No, really it's amazing if anyone's interested it's out every Wednesday and Thursday.

The acting is wonderful along with the plot and the characters history with each other. BTW everyone in this drama is connected to each other in family/childhood friends type of way.

October Favourites - Bianca

Hey Everybody! Hope you guys had a fantastic Halloween, I know I did. I wanted to share my October Favourites with you.

So to get the ball rolling I'm going to start with skincare.

This month I have been loving my The Body Shop body butter in Strawberry. OMG! I freaking love this stuff! It makes you smell like fruit roll-up. I just... uggh, it's happiness in lotion-form.

Next up is my Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Blueberry & Lavender Extract Calming Toner. Phew.. long name, but good product. It does a good job at deep-cleaning, definitely worth investing in. Check out the site here   

Now Haircare.

I was recommended this product by my friend Ziarra.  It makes second-day hair look completely clean and it works as a texturizing spray as well. This miracle-worker is the one and only Batiste Dry Shampoo. Not to mention it smell amazing too! 

Something else that I have also been enjoying is the L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil. It moisturizes the tips of my hait and really helps with my split-ends. I put it on wi=hen my hair is damp and before I go to bed. I can really see a difference.

Next up is Makeup and Nails.

My favourite part!  For makeup I have just a couple of products. First of all I have my Essence Mono Eyeshadow in 55 Shrimp it up. Its is a coral/bright pink with a hint of shimmer. I know it is an eyeshadow, but its too pink for my eyes in my opinion. Instead I use it as a blush. It really gives a nice glow onto my skin. Perfect pigmentation.

Another favourite of mine is my Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 111 Kiss of Life . I swear the names of beauty products get longer and longer each time. For me this is the perfect shade of red.  Even though it is a matte finish it is quite moisturising.

Nail time! 

This past month I have been loving the brand NO.7. Their nail polish is sooo amazing!

No.7 is a bit pricey than most brands but I got mine as a present for Christmas. The shades I have is Devil's Delight, Damson Dream, Hot to Trot and Totally Teal. My favourite had to be Hot to Trot. It is a bronzy colour and it looks amzing on the nails.

Another Brand favourite is NYC's In a Minute Nail Polish. I am loving Grand Central Station and the Rock Muse topcoat in Rock Muse. Actually I think I found my holy grail topcoat. Even though its not marketed as a top coat, I read some reviews about it being used as a topcoat. Overall I really like NYC's nail polish and I think I will be purchasing more colours in the future.

Last, but not least is the Fashion and Jewellery Favourites.

 I love my "NEW YORK" beanie from Pennys. Actually my mom bought the hat originally but she gave it to me. At first I was like "too much swag" but I gotta say it look cute with some combat boots and overalls. It keeps me warm and cute, winner in my book. The two bracelets I've been loving are both from Claire's. One is a green beaded bracelet with a peace sign, the other is a pink stacking bracelet with sliver beads. I love them both, they seem to go with everything I wear.
