Morning routine 2013! Laura

Hey guys!
Today I will be showing you my winter morning routine because i'm on winter break woo!

1- Wake up, i usually wake up at around 1 or 2 because I don't have to go to school. Then i usually spend an hour chilling on my phone.

2- Eat, my favourite thing to eat is porridge or cereal because it's healthy and gives you nutritions for the rest of the day.

3- Shower, i usually wash my hair at night so i'll take a quick 5 minute shower in the morning. I use the nivea shower gel to wash my body, clean and clear cream wash to wash my face and just normal toothpaste to brush my teeth.

4- Get ready, after i'll dry myself and apply nivea body moisturiser to moisturise my skin. Then i'll do my makeup (check my everyday makeup tutorial to see what i use), i do my hair which is usually a braid or i'll straighten my hair.

5- Get dressed

6- Leave my house.

Thats it! Obviously if i'm not doing anything that day then i won't get ready.
Hope you enjoyed;)

Sweet as Candy: Lush Snow Fairy shower gel review

Hey Bees,
Snow Fairy: All 3 sizes

About a month ago, I went to town with the Fam. We happened to pass by a lush shop and my natural instincts kicked in and I automaticcally went in. Now if you've ever been in a Lush shop, as soon as you go in, you're greeted by about 100 different scents and it's a bit overwhelming.  But if you managed to stay within 5 minutes you've survived the most difficult part. I knew the Christmas stock was in so I looked around, hoping to spot a new product to try & then I saw it. On a little self beside "Ponche" and "Rose Jam". It sorta had this glowing lightcoming down onto it. I took one sniff and I had to get it. It was like love at first sniff! Now the low-down:

Product: Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Packaging: Simple Lush shower tube, pastel pink colour
Scent: Extremely sweet and smell like Lush lip scrub "Bubblegum"

Good:
  1. With Lush shower gels, they last like forever! So instead of the biggest tube, I got the middle one.
  2. The scent lingers on skin.
  3. Good lather and scent is not as strong when lathered up.
  4.  The scent is sweet but a bit overwhelming
Bad:
  1. Price: about £6.50 (euros) is a bit overpriced whether its Lush or not.
  2. Scent can be too sweet for those who do not like sweet scented things
  3. Product is limited edition.
  4. Scent is similar to other products in Lush

So overall I think this product is amazing! Not only is it good for your skin, it makes you smell like a sweet gumdrop.  Rate: 4/5 ( the price is too much)

Would I repurchase? YES!

I hope you guys enjoyed this review! Don't forget to comment, tell your friends and to keep on reading our blog! Have an amazing New Year!

Top Tips: Keeping your skin under control even during the Winter months

Hey guys!
Since it's been getting really cold, well where i live anyway. I can't even step out of my house without wearing a big winter jacket, scarf, gloves and a hat our skin has been getting drier due to the cold weather, for anyone that suffers with eczema all year round its bound to get worse during the cold winter months.

Inside air
Believe it or not, hanging out indoors can be just as bad as hanging outside with the cold elements. The artifical heat we use to keep us warm and cosy dries out the air. Use a humidifier whenever possible to restore some mosture back into the air-- and skin.

Protect your hands
You use your hands all day long, so by having dry, cracked skin it can become an issue. Protect them by popping on a pair of gloves everytime you go out and apply a thick hand lotion several times a day.

Your body is important too
Just like you have to take care when washing your hands, do the same for the skin on the rest of your body when you shower. Those long, luxurious showers do feel great when it's cold outside, but they'll leave you dry and itchy. Swap those for quick showers and keep the water as cool as you can stand. Use a mild or soap-free cleanser with added moisturizers, and then pat dry -- don't rub. Moisturize within three to five minutes of drying off, preferably while your skin is still damp to take advantage of that moisture.

About the face
Take care of the skin on your face so you can face the world this winter. Wash your face before you go to bed with a mild cleanser, but skip your morning suds. You don't need any more soap when all you've done is sleep -- just splash with water to refresh your face. The same goes for the rest of the day. Use water and a soft washcloth to wash away or refresh your face, saving soap for when you really need it. Moisturize your face twice a day, and add a bit of extra moisture by switching your facial moisturizer. During the winter months, use a nighttime formula all day long, since those are typically oil-based and much thicker.

Thats it! Hope you guys got a few tips from this:)

Winter Fashion Must-Haves

Hello fellow fashionistas!
It's been a while since we posted a fashion post so I decided to open with some Winter Fashion Must-Haves! I will post more on Winter Must-Haves for shoes, accessories, bags etc. later in the month. So I just have a few pieces this month but I have been loving these especially the graphic skirt and the Black mesh top with black polka dots.

So I start with the left-hand corner:
This loose black and white tank is a bit chilly for the winter-time, so layer up! I got this at H&M for £7! What a sale!

The next one up is a grey and pale purple flannel (Gifted) and denim overalls from Pennys/Primark. The flannel was gifted from a friend but the overalls I bought myself. They costed about £11. Knee-High socks would look super cute with combat boots.

The one of me taking selfie is actually the latest in my collection. This top is from H&M and I simply LOVE it! I can pair it with jeans, shorts, skirts list is endless! The price: £15

The graphic skirt was an impulse buy but at £5 how could I resist?! Skater skirts were a big trend in late spring/summer and its making its comeback in the Autumn/Winter time! These skirts are so flattering on everybody and to style them is quit e easy too. What's not to love? Price: £5

The varsity jacket is an absolute staple in all outfits! What's better? A MAROON-coloured varsity jacket. Maroon is a trending colour for the cooler months! Pennys/Primark- price £9

The last fashon staple is the basic sweater. This white-coloured sweater from River Island is Totes adorbs! It is slightly cropped so you can still enjoy the crop trend without freezing to death! price-£6-7.

Hope you guys enjoyed my Winter Fashion Must-Haves and I'll post again soon! Don't forget to comment to tell us what you think and tell your friends! Keep in contact with us in the CONTACT page!

Favourite Nail polishes for Fall/Winter

Hey guys!
Today i will be talking to you about my favourite nail polishs and also a top coat!

Miss sporty-
As some of you guys might know (bianca <3) miss sporty is my favourite nail polish brand off all time! So i choose 3- dark blue, black & purple. These nail polishs are really cheap and affordable and you can get them in boots for 3 euro, they last about a week, they dry quick and there amazing. My favourite is the black because it suits everyone and it's an amazing winter colour!

Mac-
Mac is a bit pricey but one of there nail polishs is amazing! Its a burgendy colour called 'past curfew' its also a creme nail polish so it applies very neatly and smoothly. You can get it in brown tomas for about 10 euro

Essence-
Essense is defiently affordable i got mine for 1.75 in penneys! Its a really pretty turqoise colour called 'lets get lost' the only bad thing about this nail polish is that it chips really easily so i would recomment getting an amazing top coat to go along with it!

Sally Hanson-
Sally hanson has amazing nail products (eg. cuticle cream, base and top coat), they also have nail polishs but i haven't tried them out yet. My favourite top coat by them is 'insta-dri' top coat. It really finishes off a look and makes it really shiny and prevents chipping.

Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post, tell me what you think in the comments below and don't forget to send me a picture of your favourite nail polishs to ' supercow10@gmail.com ' or kalidoscope@yahoo.ie '
See ya next time ! <3
